INVICTUS GERMANY: WHAT WE STAND FOR

Since 2014 is Germany part of the Invictus Community, and has participated at the Invictus Games 2014 in London, 2016 in Prlando, 2017 in Toronto, 2018 in Sydney, 2022 in The Hague and 2023 in Düsseldorf. On January 15, 2020, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, announced that the INVICTUS GAMES 2023 would take place in Düsseldorf, being the first time in Germany. Since then, there has been a moving wave of attention for all the people who serve their country and have paid for their commitment to our freedom and security with their health.

The INVICTUS GERMANY is the consistent continuation of the Invictus Games idea for Germany and will further raise awareness of the relevance of sport in rehabilitation, increase society’s appreciation of service in the armed forces and promote the causes of WIS (wounded, injured or sick) and their Family & Friends in the spirit of the INVICTUS GAMES.
